Two Sides to the Puzzle
It took not even half a week before Desmond decided to make a run for it. I guess after being locked away for so long he decided his chances were better in the jungle. Locke has made it his personal responsibility to push the button every 108 minutes. He claims it's his "destiny"! I find something peculiar about him and it might have to do with the fact that he was in a wheelchair before the crash. He wheeled passed me in the airport and last time I checked, paralysis wasn't cured overnight. I also find it odd that he hasn't shared this information with anyone. It's not my business to tell, but I know if I had been paralyzed and suddenly could walk again I would be so ecstatic I'd tell everyone I met, I mean, what a great story! The least he should do is tell our resident miracle worker, doctor Jack. He could definitely provide his medical opinion in regards to this rapid change.
Another thing that bothers me is that there seems to be a select few that get any real information around here, and the rest of us are left being the last ones to find out, or having to spy and eavesdrop to find out what's going on! I'd like to know who appointed Hurley the one in-charge of all the food in the Hatch? I certainly never got a vote, but I guess this island community doesn't believe in democracy. I just hope that Michael, Sawyer, Jin and Walt find rescue soon. Maybe in a few days I'll be drinkin mimosas and feasting on a variety of the worlds delicious flavors.
